Ballyhoo Irish Whiskey

As the Connacht Whiskey Distillery, situated on Ireland’s picturesque west coast, awaited the maturation of its own spirit, it curated this charming grain Irish whiskey Composed of a mash bill featuring 93% corn and 7% malted barley, this whiskey underwent an initial 4-year maturation period. Intriguingly, it was then aged for an additional 6 months in sweet red tawny Port casks, a process that imbued it with a new layer of complex flavours and a rich, deep colour before being bottled at 43% ABV.
