A 100% rye whiskey from the Purcelville distillery in Virginia. Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye is made with local rye, and matured in white oak casks from Minnesota. This is the most awarded rye whiskey in the state and is pre-Prohibition in style. It’s sweet and spicy, with citrus undertones, and is great sipping neat or added to cocktails. This is the 80 proof (40% ABV) expression.
