Clan Colla 20 Year OldAmarone Cask

Here we have a 20-year-old release from Galway based Ahascragh Distillery. This is a double-distilled, single cask release of just 300 bottles. Matured for its early life in Bourbon Barrels and finished for a further period in Italian Amarone casks. Signature Bourbon barrel flavours of caramel and toffee are still there and the Amarone cask has added many interesting elements including darker fruits and a lovely texture on the palate,.
