Glasgow 1770 Calvados CaskSmall Batch Series

This expression from The Glasgow Distillery is the product of a single cask, marking their inaugural venture into utilizing French Apple Brandy Casks in harmony with their double distilled, unpeated whisky. Beginning its maturation journey in a first fill ex-bourbon cask, the whisky was then transferred to a Calvados barrel for a finishing period of two years and five months. This process imbues the whisky with a palette of flavour, including the crispness of fresh green apples, the gentle sweetness of poached pears, the comforting warmth of baked apple pie, and a lingering spice of nutmeg. Presented all natural colour and at a cask strength of 58.7%abv.
