The 1770 Original Cask Strength offering from the Glasgow Distillery has been double distilled using unpeated malted barley, followed by maturation in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and a finishing in heavily charred virgin American white oak barrels from Kelvin Cooperage. For this Batch 01 release, the distillery selected three outstanding casks that embody the quintessential character of The Original. These casks were expertly married to create a limited edition of 750 bottles, each presented at a formidable 61.3% ABV.
