Glendalough 7 Year OldMizunara Finish

Glendalough distillery have taken some of their quality single malt whisky and finished it in casks made from rare Japanese Mizunara oak. This seven year old expression was first matured in American oak bourbon casks before being moved over to the Mizunara casks. These casks are notoriously tricky for coppers to work with, so are seldom used or made. But they are quite spectacular when you find them, expect lots of fragrant complexity here.
