Glenfiddich 12 Year Old

This lovely expression is from Glenfiddich Distillery based up in Speyside. This 12 year old uses the same water source that they used when the distillery first started making whisky back in 1887. Matured in a mixture of Oloroso & Bourbon casks made from American & European Oak – which results in a medley of nuanced soft flavours hiding inside this cracking whisky. Fun Fact, Glenfiddich translates as Valley of the Deer in Scots Gaelic.
