Jura Seven Wood

This is an intriguing and complex single malt from the Jura distillery in the Hebrides. As the name suggests, the whisky used here has been taken from seven different casks – six of which are from France. These are American oak, Vosges, Jupilles, Les Bertranges, Allier, Tronçais, and Limousin barrels. This has led to a layered dram with flavours of vanilla, spice, chocolate and dried fruits. It is bottled at 42% ABV and was released in 2018 as part of the brand’s Signature Series.
