Penderyn HiraethIcons Of Wales Release

This is the eighth expression from Penderyn’s Icons Series and the first time they’ve released a core range whisky using mainly spirit from their pot stills. This bottling is named after the Welsh word ‘Hiraeth’, which loosely translates as ‘homesickness’ or a ‘longing for one’s heritage’. Finished in ex-bourbon casks, this is a sweet and fruity single malt that’s been bottled at 46% ABV. Really excellent stuff.
