The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Licensed DramThe Original Stories

This is the second addition to Glenlivet’s limited release range ‘The Original Stories’, following on from the first release The Glenlivet 12 Year Old ‘Illicit Still’. After years of illicit distilling, Glenlivet founder George Smith became one of the first to gain a license to legally distil Scotch following the inauguration of the 1823 Excise Act. This release has been matured for at least 12 years in a combination of American and European oak casks, bottled at 48% ABV.
