Part of the The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Edition’s which sees a departure from the English distillery’s usual sherry-led house style, this is ‘Iris’. The Lakes whisky maker Dhavall Gandhi, inspired by Gulmarg; a town in the Himalayas which translates as ‘meadow of flowers’. So expect a floral, tropical dram here, packed full of juicy pear and fragrant honeysuckle, bottled at 56% ABV.
