Here we have a delicately smokey blended whisky from Wemyss Malts. The revamped Peat Chimney is a no age statement expression that’s made up of 16 malt whiskies, not all of which are from Islay. This has resulted in a wonderfully layered blend that’s sweet, savoury, spicy – and smokey. It’s bottled at 46%, although Wemyss do also offer a limited edition cask strength expression. An all-round elegant blended whisky.
