Wire Works CaduroSTR & Bourbon Cask Matured

White Peak Distillery, located in Derbyshire, UK, is renowned for its Wire Works Whisky range, showcasing quality and regional character. Occupying a historically rich site in Ambergate, the distillery’s Wire Works series pays tribute to the area’s industrial heritage, particularly its wire manufacturing legacy. Presenting a distinctive vatting of Derbyshire single malt, Caduro is a release matured in both American and French oak casks. It includes a blend of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and White Peak’s signature STR Casks — these are specially reconditioned wine barriques, meticulously shaved, toasted, and re-charred to enhance flavour. The use of STR casks, along with a significant portion of French oak, imparts an added depth of fruitiness and intensity to the whisky’s lightly-peated character. This release, totaling 5,582 bottles, is proud to showcase 100% natural color and is presented non-chill filtered, preserving the authentic and rich essence of the whisky.
